PIEDAD CORDOBA

THE CONTINENTAL SHELF OF WOMEN "Peace with Justice for Colombia "
believes in a humanitarian agreement as an exercise in social justice and peace. Vindicate its validity and importance to the extent that this process gives our responsibilities to the victims of the war so far are unknown and invisible.

In this context, we support the efforts of Senator Piedad Cordoba and the group of civilians who have been fueling the possibility of a release of those held by the FARC and now appear ready to unilateral release of some of them. Peace is a social fact that is collectively constructed, is not exclusive of any government, is an interest not only Colombians or norteamerican s @ s , but Latinoamericando @ s committed to social struggle , united in solidarity to support block social actors who propose building an inclusive society.

urge all American women supported the efforts of Senator Piedad Cordoba, the union to advance the action network necessary to protect life and ensure dignity in carrying out this difficult task of trying to regenerate the dialogue against a government that sees in war the only way out and that does not support any form of social organization or proposal.

REQUEST TO HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANIZATIONS, civil society organizations, friendly governments that support the Peace Management and protect the lives of its managers.

COLOMBIA: All voices are entitled the word

Meeting in Buenos Aires, women who make up the Women's Continental Shelf "Peace with Justice for Colombia", from different Latin American countries, we express once again:

- that we share a fundamental demand, which was delivered to the Embassy of Colombia in Argentina:

- HUMANITARIAN AGREEMENT NOW!

- POLITICAL SOLUTION TO CONFLICT!

- that to be possible Humanitarian Agreement, and the political solution is essential that all voices are heard of those infected and affected by the decades-long armed conflict, the implementation of policies of state terrorism, and the intervention of the U.S. Open . UU. in Colombia through Plan Colombia. We ask in particular that are heard the voices of Colombian women, silenced by a system of death, using women's bodies as war booty.

We demand the government of Uribe, opening opportunities for peace with justice, and for that the free movement of the word. To stop terror against communities, deaths of civil society leaders, the bombing of villages. To open a physical space with conditions to ensure dialogue.

* We call on the FARC and the ELN, to find ways to express their commitment to dialogue, that will open a political solution to the conflict, and enable humanitarian agreements.

invite Colombian women, the persecuted, the raped, displaced or forced, which resist in fields and cities, women who have seen their loved ones disappear, women who know extrajudicial executions, which had to emigrate y siguen insistiendo por la paz, a las insurgentes, a las prisioneras políticas, a las mujeres todas, que desde sus vidas cotidianas cuidan y defienden nuestro derecho a existir en dignidad, que han llegar su palabra al correo
