MONDAY 30 AUGUST: The Chilean government still does not raise the barrier of silence that keeps the control limit of 32 Mapuche political prisoners on hunger strike .
Wednesday 1 September: Relatives of the Mapuche political prisoners (PPM) are calling on the THIRD DAY OF MOBILIZATION , with the aim of breaking the siege communication and thereby strengthen actions to support the demands of the Mapuche political prisoners on hunger strike.
Relatives reported that the 48-day hunger strike to resist the PPM in jail Concepción Manzano, reported weight loss as follows:
- Héctor Llaitul Carrillanca: 18 kilos.
- Luis Menares Chanilao: 16.500 kilos.
- Huillical Jonathan Mendez: 15.300 kilos.
- Ramón Llanquileo Pilquiman: 13.300 kilos.
- José Huenuche Reiman: 13.100 kilos.
However, government actions only fuel the spread of conflict, such as: bring an action in court justice to power by means of force to the PPM on hunger strike, the raid on the prison in Angola, which has caused obstruction of the work of external medical equipment, the manipulation of the media, and no silencing their demands, among other measures.
During these 52 days, the Chilean government has been unable to establish dialogue with Mapuche political prisoners. Mapuche warriors that have stood a decent systematic criminalization of the politico-social, and that from prison demand:
- The repeal of the Terrorism Act (inherited from the Pinochet dictatorship) that are processed by the Mapuche,
- Weekend's usage of Justice of "faceless witnesses" political tool that violates human rights,

- End the militarization of communities in territorial conflict on the Mapuche (Mapuche country).
It is up to the Chilean government to meet the just demands of the PPM on hunger strike and put an end to repression and the silence that prevails in the country.
